Personal Accident insurance cover

This cover will pay the sum insured shown if an insured person suffers loss, damage, death or bodily injury whilst driving or travelling in the insured vehicle (Insured vehicle means any private motor car or 4 wheeled commercial vehicle) during the period of insurance which results in any of the following:

 

  • Accidental Death £ 30,000
  • Total and irrecoverable loss of sight in both eyes £ 30,000
  • Total and irrecoverable loss of sight in one eye £ 15,000
  • Loss of limbs £ 30,000
  • Loss of one limb £ 15,000
  • Permanent Total Disablement £ 30,000

If the Insured Person and/or any passenger is under 16 years of age the Accidental Death benefit is limited to £2,500
Additional benefits in the event of a road rage assault or “car jacking”

  •  Hospital daily cash benefit of £100 per day but not beyond 30 days
  •  Emergency dental treatment up to £250
  •  Clothing & personal effects up to £150
  •  Five sessions of stress counselling following a claim for bodily injury
